Uniphos gas detectors can be broadly classified into three groups:
Gas Detector Tubes: These chemical detectors consist of sealed glass tubes filled with a sensing chemical that changes color when exposed to the target gas and are primarily used to carry out spot measurements of gas concentrations.
Portable Gas Detectors: These electronic instruments are specifically designed to monitor the work environment or confined spaces for dangerous levels of flammable and toxic gases.
Fixed Gas Detectors: These are designed to continuously monitor and provide alerts for potentially hazardous levels of gas concentrations in the environment.

Gas Detection Tubes
Chemical detector tubes are an economical way for quick, on the spot, gas specific measurement of wide range of flammable, toxic gases and vapours. It is one of the most reliable and proven ways to measure toxic gases, pollutants and harmful gases as detection method doesn’t rely on laboratory, calibration or power.
All chemical detector tubes operate in a similar manner. However, the physical dimensions of the tube and the design of pump which enables to draw an air sample through detector tube vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
With the acquisition of detector tube manufacturing facility of MSA Auer, Germany in 2014, we are the only gas detection manufacturer to offer two lines of detector tubes prevailing the world.

Air Sampling Pump
Uniphos ASP-40 pump is a piston and barrel type of air sampling pump designed to work with the 5mm Uniphos gas detector tubes. It draws an accurate volume of sample air through the barrel of Uniphos detector tube.
